The Auran 48160ESS R is a robust 48V sodium-ion battery system purpose-built for residential energy storage. It delivers reliable backup power across off-grid, on-grid, and remote applications. With a rated capacity of 160Ah (7.68kWh) and available in both 150A and 200A maximum continuous current versions, it offers flexible power options to suit different household energy demands. Its modular rack-mounted design allows parallel connection of up to 15 units, making it easy to scale capacity for higher backup power requirements.
Powered by high-quality, large-capacity sodium-ion cells, the battery delivers an industry-leading cycle life of 10000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge (25°C / 0.5C), significantly outperforming conventional lithium-ion solutions in longevity. The independently developed intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) provides comprehensive protection against overcharge, over-discharge, and temperature extremes, and has passed compatibility verification with multiple leading inverter brands.
The system supports both grid connected and off-grid operation modes, with CAN and RS485 communication interfaces for seamless integration. Its compact rack-mounted form factor (442×720×230mm) optimizes space utilization, while advanced features — including an aerosol fire extinguishing device and Bluetooth connectivity (on 200A version) — enhance safety and user convenience.
