The Astra 12160Veh M is a versatile 12V sodium-ion battery pack designed as a direct drop-in replacement for lead-acid batteries in RV, off-grid, and residential energy storage applications. With a rated capacity of 160Ah (1.92kWh) and support for up to 6 units in series (12V to 72V), it offers flexible voltage configuration to meet diverse power requirements. The battery delivers a standard continuous charge/discharge current of 100A, with 200A continuous and 120A peak discharge (1S) for high-power appliances.
Engineered for extreme environments, the Astra 12160Veh M operates reliably at temperatures as low as -40°C with a built-in heating function, and supports discharge from -20°C to 60°C. It delivers an exceptional cycle life of over 10000 cycles or 10 years (0.5C, 25±2°C, 70% DOD), ensuring long-term durability and reduced replacement costs. The comprehensive Battery Management System (BMS) provides protection against overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short circuit, and cell imbalance, with SOC estimation and equalization functions.
The IP54-rated mold-sealed steel enclosure ensures resistance to dust, water, shock, and oxidation, making it suitable for demanding mobile and outdoor installations. An optional LCD display provides real-time status monitoring, while RS485 and CAN communication interfaces ensure seamless integration with mainstream inverters.
